The Tyvex material is waterproof and ultra-lightweight. It has antibacterial properties and is 100% recyclable. The polyethylene yarn from which it is created is resistant to abrasion and tears which makes products made from it extremely durable. For this reason, Tyvek is used in the production of, among other things, laboratory clothing, festival wristbands or numbers for marathon runners.
